Well some mixed results at the weekend with all but 1 of our teams playing. Bad conditions with it raining all day Sunday but thanks again to all our coaches & volunteers for sorting out the weekend fixture list.On Saturday all the mini-soccer teams played with our u11s 9-a-side team doing well even after loosing 4-1 plus a good result for our u14s Saturday team,again the girls did well over 2 games with a draw & a defeat and i hear are improving all the time.On Sunday we had 2 teams playing in cup games with our u11s Reds winning but u12s Whites lost away in a very entertaining game.In the league we had wins for our u13s & u14s but defeats for our u12s Reds & u15s but overall did very well to stage 5 home games in the conditions.
The result for the letter forecast drawn on 5th-February-2011 was P-C-B no winners next weeks prize money is £2000.
On Saturday night we also had our race night held at the teams social club and hopefully every one had a good night. May i thank Carol Qiunn for organising the night and also to everyone who helped by selling tickets and also helping on the evening itself.Also a thank you to Vicky for sorting out the programme and the Teams Social Club esp Stewart and Sharon for your help on the night with the racing.
Well we will now move onto our next fund raising event which is the sportsman's dinner on the 18th-March-2011 again at the teams social club and if you require any information please contact Terry Ritson or ask any team manager. The speaker is Dave Watson ex Everton & England with Comedian Lester Crabtree which includes 3 course meal,raffles and auction.Tickets £30 each or a table of 10 for £300.
